All's well here at The Dispatch. The snails want to go to the beach. They were saying that they miss the smell of the briny sea air and the feel of wet sand. We aren't planning on going to the beach anytime soon and we're also pretty concerned about them getting swept out into the ocean. So we filled an old baking pan full of salt water and sand from the garden and have a fan going next to it. They seemed completely satisfied with that and we were guessing that they hadn't ever been to the ocean before and don't know what it is really like.

• Stray
  • Came to Xbox Game Pass, so I played this and its great, but haven't been on the Xbox very much so haven't returned to it
  • We need more games with cats as the controllable protagonist character
• Magic
  • Opened a Lord of the Rings set booster box with the folks in our league and did a Limited night
  • Was super fun and the culmination of a lot of thinking and preparation

Coding Corner 👨🏻‍💻

• Inside the Decline of Stack Exchange
  • Seems like Stack Exchange / Stack Overflow got to a saturation point and was declining before AI showed up
  • But ChatGPT might be the death-knell
  • Article goes more into the business aspects than I'm really interested in
• Rewriting wipEout
  • Didn't read the whole thing, just excited that WASM and WebGL can do this kind of thing
